Warren Child — Principal Consultant

Warren Child entered the chemical industry in 1980 as a compounder and formulator. Over the next four decades, he worked his way through every level of it, from warehouse supervisor to Regional Vice President overseeing nine branches at one of North America's largest chemical distributors.

That progression matters. Warren has spent his career on the commercial and operational side of the chemical business at Van Waters and Rogers, Quadra Chemicals, Great Western Chemical, Brenntag North America, and Berryman Chemical. He has built sales teams, managed distribution networks, developed oil and gas industry programs, and driven growth in markets that most consultants only read about.

One of his signature achievements at Brenntag was working with a major oil and gas operator to develop an in-house production chemicals program. The result was millions of dollars in annual savings and a lasting improvement in operational efficiency, supply chain control, and cost predictability.

Today, through Child's Chemical and Environmental Consultants, Warren focuses on the commercial, operational, and strategic side of client work. Distribution model optimization, sales development and coaching, margin improvement, business analysis, and growth strategy. He also serves as Managing Partner at Lynesca Ventures, a ventures firm with an active product portfolio.

As a WSI Certified AI Consultant, Warren helps business leaders find where AI can create practical, measurable value, across marketing, operations, compliance workflows, and growth strategy. The goal is always the same: make AI useful and aligned with real business outcomes.
